Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup

Warning: This book is a coach glue. It is impossible to put it down.

John Carreyrou did a fantastic job on investigating the false claims of Elizabeth Holmes/Theranos. He well elaborated the rise (net worth of $4.5 Billion) of and fall($0)of the Theranos company. If you are not familier with Theranos story, it start with a Elizabeth Holmes (a Standford dropout) who has a simple but great idea, performing a wide range of blood test very fast with a single drop of blood. For people who are not in the expert in this field, it sounds approachable with some research and using high tech devices. However, along the way, she realize the inevitable technical obstacles, and somehow along the way she start to “fake it until make it”. You should read the book for the rest of the story!
